The action of the performance by Marcin Wierzchowski starts three days before … Well, that is, before what? Everyone knows that soon SOMETHING will happen, something that will change their lives forever. The media, the characters themselves and their dreams talk about this. Faced with a situation in which they find themselves, each of the characters will have to verify their whole system of values.

The main inspiration for “Kansas” is “The Wizard of Oz ” by Lyman Frank Baum. Similarly, the main character’s name is Dorothy. In Kansas, which was once a mainstay of human solidarity, diligence, devotion and courageous pursuit for justice, something went wrong. Dora, as the only one, tries to restore the lost order to the town of Andover, the home to the people living there, and the meaning to life. This becomes the starting point for further questions about the human condition, man’s place in the modern world and the consequences of (not) made choices.
