“Eine kleine Nachtmusik” by an Austrian writer Silke Hassler consists of fifteen short scenes, which are connected by the main character, Anna, a violinist. After the break-up with the man, Anna destroys her violin and embarks on a journey, half-real, half-dreamy, in search for her own identity. In subsequent meetings with her brother, a priest, a young man, a prostitute, the seller of flowers, she tries to establish contact with another person. Although all attempts fail, the experience of this journey cause that in the last scene Anna again plays the violin, “from the beginning slowly and tentatively, then more and more beautiful and intense … she puts away the violin and smiles.”
