The Visible/Invisible HAPPENING
Old Town Square
A group of volunteers, assisted by students of the Academy of Fine Arts Performance Studio in Krakow, under the artistic supervision of Artur Grabowski, will perform actions in urban spaces inspired by the performances of Aurélien Bory’s invisibili and Robert Wilson’s Dorian. The common denominator of both performances is a kind of slowing down, slowing down time into which dynamically flow reflections on alienation and exclusion. The slow motion and the loop will become figures to tell the story of nomads, migrants at the time of the refugee
crisis. Their stories will be looped literally and figuratively by means of a time carousel located in the Old Town Square in Toruń.

The Rebellious Backyard Orchestra The Disgrace! CONCERT
Teatr im. Wilama Horzycy (Main auditorium), pl. Teatralny 1
Hańba! (The Disgrace!) combines urban folk and punk rock. The band consists of Andrzej Zamenhof (banjo, vocals), Ignacy Woland (tuba, saxhorn), Tadeusz Król (accordion, clarinet, saxophone), and Adam Sobolewski (taraban, vocals). They gave their first live concert in 2013. The Rebellious Backyard Orchestra Hańba! had been created to tell a fictional musical story whose characters condemned the evil of the world of the 1930s and 1940s: full of hatred, social inequality, militarism, chauvinism, and anti-Semitism.
