Bartosz Zaczykiewicz

Born in 1969. He graduated from the Faculty of Polish Studies at Warsaw University (1994), Department of Directing Drama at A. Zelwerowicz Theatre Academy in Warsaw (1998) and Postgraduate Course for Managers of Culture at Warsaw School of Economics (2009). In the 1990s he participated in many internships and workshops on theater and animation of culture and organization of cultural events, among others, at the Centre for the Study of Jerzy Grotowski Work and Theatrical-Cultural Research in Wrocław, Centre for Theatre Practices “Gardzienice”, Odin Teatret in Holstebro (Denmark), Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, The 4th Youth Baltic Conference (Drama and Musie Workshop, Shreesberg – Germany, 1992). In 1999-2007 he was the managing and artistic director of Jan Kochanowski Theatre in Opole. In 2007-2009 he was the managing and artistic director of Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz Studio Theatre in Warsaw. Since December 2012 he has been the Deputy of Artistic Director at Wilam Horzyca Theater.
